How do I add the 3 required directories?

The installer asks you to enter the full system path to 3 custom directories which are required for Hivemail.
It's recommended to not create them inside public_html but outside your webroot.

The installer checks if the directories have write permission, thus you may need to chmod them 777 (on certain server configurations).

On a CPanel system login to CPanel, goto File Manager, select home directory from the popup or on the left hand side of the screen, click on New Folder at the top and add 3 folders eg. hive_temp, hive_message, hive_storage

Now enter the following information into the 3 fields presented by the Hivemail installer:

/home/cpanelaccountname/hive_temp
/home/cpanelaccountname/hive_message
/home/cpanelaccountname/hive_storage

Replace cpanelaccountname above with your CPanel username!

You can change the path later on in Hivemail adminCP - General Settings - Storage Settings if you need to move or recreate the directories!
